YDR's website has undergone a metamorphosis since last we visited. The new site is attractive, intuitive and informative. That said, "The Moraine Train" follows a nostalgic route through the Oak Ridges Moraine -- some of the most beautiful country in the province. Trains operate seasonally.

Self-propelled Budd Cars transport guests on sightseeing, shopping and recreational excursions along the historic Quebec Central Line through the Eastern Townships. East Angus-Sherbrooke trains run Sundays and midweek to historic Dudswell and onto scenic St-Gerard. This handsomely rendered site is easy to navigate and a pleasureo view. The historic train it describes is a treasure of Canadiana: one of the last regularly operating steam trains in the country.
